We are a Beavercreek-based, woman and Veteran-owned small business which opened in November 2011. We had been living in the Washington DC area, where, because of the large volumes of laundry and dry cleaning generated by the huge Federal workforce, low prices were common. However, quality left a lot to be desired. When we came back home., we went to one of the larger local Dayton dry cleaners and paid $25 – just to have three items dry cleaned. Deciding there must be a better dry cleaning solution, the idea of Buckeye Green Cleaners was born. Thus, the notion of making quality affordable is now our motto.
By the way, those three items would cost just $14.97 in our store today, and it’s 10 years later!
We are proud that both of our managers, Sharon Baxter and Beth Dixon have been certified by the Dry Cleaning and Laundry Institute as a Certified Professional Dry Cleaners, the only two in the Dayton area and two of only a few in Ohio. This means they successfully completed training and a four hour test, and it also means we really care about quality at Buckeye Green Cleaners.
